1.Separates (also called component) speakers: here, the tweeter (which produces high frequency sounds) and the woofer (which produces low frequency sounds) have separate cases. Effectively, they are two completely different speakers.

The benefit of separates is that they produce a far better sound quality than the coaxial speakers do. However, they have a big draw back when it comes to car speaker UK: they take up a lot of space. if you want separates, you need to have space in the car to accommodate them.

2.Coaxial speakers: here, the tweeter and the woofer are found in the same speaker unit, and effectively appear as a single unit.

However, without one, you won’t hear the very low bass tones. The major issue here is that they are large, and very few car owners will install them because they take up too much boot space.
